Our 2025 Christmas Concert took place at the beautiful Cavendish Hall in Edensor, on the Chatsworth estate and sold out within two weeks of tickets being available.
Opening with a traditional Wassail carol the music progressed through traditional Wassail songs and Wakes calls to, in the second half, American Songbook and film numbers.
Our aim is always to explore beautiful music, old and new, from across the globe. So this year, we included a trio of carols from Spain: ‘Riu, Riu, Chiu’, followed by ‘A La Nanita Nana’ and finally the wonderfully flamenco sounding ‘Esta Noche’, in which Jo Brown was our superb soloist.
In 2026, we are considering holding our Christmas Concert over two evenings in December.
