SUMMARY:Autumn Concert
DESCRIPTION:We return for a third year to sing in the beautiful St. Mary’s Church on Friday 18th September at 7.30pm as part of the 2026 Wirksworth Festival. \nWith the theme of ‘Tempest & Tranquility’\, we will be singing pieces by British composers that are inspired by British literature and musical theatre – from Shakespeare to Harry Potter – from witches and wizards to the Ascot Races!  As always we will be including a scintilating mixture of composers from Bob Chilcott to John Williams and George Shearing to Elton John. \nTickets go on sale in the first week of July. \nTickets £15   Students & U16s £5 \nAvailable from Marsden’s Gifts\, Wirksworth\nAquabox Depot 09:00-12:00 Mon-Fri\nemail:  tickets@fishpondchoir.com   \n \n  \n  \n  \n
